Circle Express becomes Driver CPC training provider

Airfreight company Circle Express has been approved as a Driver CPC periodic training provider. From September, fleet director Nick Hedderly and transport manager Matthew Richardson will deliver Driver CPC training in-house and to external firms.

The Berkshire-based group was approved to deliver the training by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) and Joint Approvals Unit for Periodic Training (JAUPT).

Hedderly and Richardson have a licence to deliver training at multiple locations; some of it will take place at the firm's East Midlands and Manchester bases.

"In three or four years there could be very real problems with too many drivers and firms having left Driver CPC training to the last minute," says Hedderly. "In keeping with our progressive approach, we feel that Circle Express is now well positioned."
